Part 1: About Us
The Renegade Angels are trying to create a happy and fun environment where you can play Aion and enjoy it, as well as having the benefits of a guild, while not having to make Aion control your life. If you’re a hardcore player, you’re among friends. If you’re a casual player, more power to you! We intend to create a universal community of players who want to enjoy Aion to the fullest with friends. Endgame and largescale PvP is a definite hope for our future and we also hope to create some alliances with other Elyos guilds.
Who Are We?
The Renegade Angels are a new guild of experienced MMORPGers from all different games who have all come to Aion. We are an Aion only guild, not a guild of several different games. We are a friendly guild who likes to participate in PvP. If this sounds like you, or if this sounds like something you’d like to be a part of, please check us out at renegade-angels.com
Part 2: Things to Consider if Looking for a Guild
What We’re Looking For
We’re currently open to anyone to apply, but that doesn’t mean you’re automatically accepted. We’re looking for people who:
* Are helpful and friendly players
* Play often, but since we realize life is hard, there is no generalized requirement for activity
* Are competitive PvP’ers
* Are team players and willing to work for the good of the guild
* Actively engage in raids whenever possible
Why Join Us?
Many guilds are forming to play Aion, but why should you join the Renegade Angels?
* We are a friendly guild who loves to help out lower leveled members
* We are a guild of experienced MMORPG players who have come from several different games
* We use a unique guild activity point system, which I will go into more detail below
* We are a guild purely based on Aion, not several different games like some other guilds
* Our main site is complete with a licensed IPB forum, .com domain, and a podcast that is both Aion and guild related.
* We love role playing. What’s the point of playing if you’re not in touch with your character. While role playing is not an essential or mandatory part of the guild, it does add another dimension to the game.
What We’re Not Looking For
Most of this is common sense. You’ve been taught most of this, more or less, from the time you were an infant. We do not allow:
* Sharing any private information with other guilds/non guild members. We’re very strict about this.
* Fighting/arguing with guild members. This means fighting in an angry way, especially flaming. There’s nothing wrong with a friendly debate.
* Exploitation of lower leveled or less experienced members.
* Player killing without reason. Obviously, this doesn’t apply to Asmodians, but mindless killing is a very serious thing.
Part 3: AngelCast
AngelCast is the official Renegade Angels podcast. It is a way of promoting the guild as well as a discussion about Aion. Episode 1 will be out very soon (Just gotta edit it). AngelCast will be totally open to players to contribute to, whether it’s suggesting what topics we should cover, submitting new content, or putting it together themselves. AngelCast is a completely player-run podcast. Please make sure to check it out when Episode 1 premiers (Sometime next week probably).
Part 4: Guild Structure
Guild Activity Point System
You may be a bit confused by the whole activity point system, so let me explain it the best that I can.
* Guild members gain points from helping guild members, donating to the guild bank, completing raids with the guild, and other such actions
* These points are used to buy or bid on items that are collected and put in the guild bank through completed raids, donations, etc.
* Disobeying rules or fighting with guild members may cause you to lose guild activity points.
* Points are gained or lost by the magnitude of the action or event; for instance, harder raid, more points

Elections
A guild should be more democratic than a monarchy, right? Therefore most officials are elected.
How it Works
1. To be qualified for election to any office not chosen directly by the Guild Master, the Member must have as many or more nominations as listed above under the description of each position.
2. The nominations must then be sent to the Guild Master and Vice Leader(s) and he/they will accept or deny the Member
3. A poll is then opened for one week on the forums and members may vote for whether the member is elected to that office or not
4. In the case of a tie, the Guild Master casts the final deciding vote.
1. To gain a position that is chosen by the Guild Master, the Member does not need to do any work except show in game and on the forums that he/she is capable and deserving of that position
Impeachment
Unfortunately, sometimes members are not capable of doing the job they are assigned and therefore must be impeached.
How it Works
1. To begin the impeachment process, a number of members equal to or greater than the amount listed under the nominations required section must agree to impeach the official
2. Once that number has been reached and sent to the Guild Master, a poll goes up for a week in which all members can vote on whether or not the official is impeached. A total vote of over 50% of the entire guild’s population is required to impeach the official
Part 5: Rules
Well, we’ve come to the boring stuff. But wait, don’t touch that scroll wheel! Again, I really don’t think I need to type everything out. Just use common sense.
-Members should be as active as possible. However, since we realize life is hard, we’re not putting any formalized cap on this.
-You should participate in any and all raids you are active and high enough leveled for, unless you have a genuine reason as to why you can’t.
-The guild officials have the right to turn down any application or kick out any member for any reason that the entire guild staff feels fair. A warning will be given to the member at their first offense unless it is a serious offense.
-Any sharing of confidential guild information from guild chat or the forums with other guilds or non-guild members will cause that member to be put on probation or kicked out of the guild depending on the magnitude of the information shared and the member’s past record.
-All rules put in place by NCsoft and all game administrators are applicable in all aspects in guild chat, on raids, and on other clan activities.
-Any exploitation of less experienced or lower leveled members will be dealt with by probation or being kicked from the guild depending on the magnitude of the offense and the member’s previous record.
-Hacking or Botting will be dealt with by an immediate kick from the clan as well as a report sent to NCsoft.
Part 6: FAQs
Q. Are you an Elyos or Asmodians guild?
A. We’re a purely Elyos guild. The bat wings just don’t fit the name.
Q. Are you a North American or a European clan?
A. I am a North American resident, but we do not turn down anyone from either area just because they’re from that area.
Q. Is your clan named after the show Xavier: Renegade Angel?
A. No it’s not. I’ve never even seen the show, and hadn’t even heard of it when I named the clan. Total coincidence, I swear.
Part 7: Final Notes
